SMART Group Scotland Delivers Solar Microgeneration Project on Time and on Budget
SMART Group Scotland is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Edinburgh Society of Model Engineers’ (ESME) “Model of the Future” Solar powered micro generation project.
The project, which was 80% funded by a grant from the Scottish Government Community and Renewable Energy Scheme (CARES), has enabled ESME to generate a considerable amount of its own electricity and even send some spare to the grid.
SMART Group Scotland was responsible for the installation of the solar panels, and we are proud to have delivered the project on time and on budget. We worked closely with ESME and the other project partners to ensure that the project was completed to the highest standards.
The successful completion of this project is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all involved. We are grateful to ESME for their trust in us, and we look forward to working with them on future projects.
This project is a great example of how SMART Group Scotland can help businesses and organisations reduce their energy costs and contribute to a cleaner environment. We have a team of experienced professionals who can help you assess your energy needs and develop a customised solar microgeneration solution.
"Project leader Andrew Newton says “this has been a fulfilling project that delivers real value to our organisation and our community. We would not have been able to achieve this without the funding and ESME can be proud that we have adopted this technology and demonstrated that heritage organisations like ours can contribute towards reducing the effects of climate change”.
Here are some of the benefits of solar microgeneration for businesses and organisations:
- Reduced energy costs: Solar panels can help you save money on your electricity bill.
- Improved energy security: Solar panels can help you reduce your reliance on the grid, which can give you peace of mind during power outages.
- Contribution to a cleaner environment: Solar panels generate electricity without producing any emissions, so they can help you reduce your carbon footprint.
